It shouldn't be a shocker to anyone that Slayer loves booze. It also shouldn’t be a surprise that their favorite libation of them all is Jägermeister. The band has already co-headlined the Jägermeister tour and most likely have boosted Jägermeister sales tenfold just on their own personal consumption alone. What we didn’t expect to see is Kerry King actually whoring himself out in an actual commercial for the brand, but lo and behold, there he is.
The ad, branding Jägermeister as the choice drink for “men who have lived lives darker and brighter than others,” features not only Kerry King but also rodeo bullfighter Rob Smets, boxing trainer Freddie Roach, ESPN analyst and all-pro wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, NASCAR pit crew champion Mike Lingerfelt, tattoo and street artist Mister Cartoon, and surfer Nathan Fletcher.
In keeping with the Jägermeister tradition, the commercial looks badass and the people featured in the commercial are made to look even more badass than normal. I guess it’s okay to be a whore as long as you’re a badass whore…right? Right? Anyone?
