Summer Slaughter 2017 Begins Without THE FACELESS & SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL

The Faceless has made the tour, despite skipping the opening date.

The Faceless has made the tour, despite skipping the opening date.

Summer Slaughter 2017 is off and running, though the opening date had a few hiccups. Slaughter To Prevail was not at the opening Pennsylvania date, and according to a statement from the band, they're not really sure when they'll be able to join up.

Due to reasons beyond anyone’s control, our resources needed to travel have been delayed. Our team is doing everything possible to ensure we arrive to the states as soon as possible. Unfortunately this means we will be missing a part of the Summer Slaughter tour dates. We are very sorry to all of our incredible fans, and all of the awesome bands and crew on the tour.

The opening show also saw an absence from The Faceless, which initially seems like a huge deal considering the band's touring history this year repeating itself twice. Fortunately everyone can be rest assured that The Faceless are absolutely, 100% on their way according to the Instagram on frontman Ken Sorceron, and will be playing the NJ show.

The band also seems to have a sense of humor about it, which is nice.
