SEPULTURA Reunion Not Happening, Or Is It? (No, It's Not)

Last week, I posted about Max Cavalera's quotes in a recent interview where he started pointing fingers for why the Sepultura reunion is not happening. Well, I guess Andreas and the rest of the current iteration of Sepultura read those quotes and they are fed up, and they ended up releasing the following video:

Don't listen to fucking rumors anymore. We are tired of listening to this fucking bullshit that Max is saying all over the world, that there's gonna be a reunion and this and that. We're here to say there's no communication, there's no talks about any type of reunion or any show with the Cavalera. Igor is doing his job, Max is supposed to do his job, and we are doing our job. We are Sepultura for 26 years and we celebrating this with a new album, a new deal and a new world tour. And I hope this is the end of fucking rumors and fucking lies, OK?!

Boom! I think it's awesome that Andreas and company made this statement so this thing can be put to the ground, at least for now. Clearly, the current version of the band have plans locked up to move forward with a new record and tour and no reunion will get in the way. But like they say, never say never!

    what a childish attitude, at least Derrick kept his open posture, not pseudo gang teenagers making threat to the Cavalera brothers. Shame that those guys – all original Sepultura – can only communicate through fucking gossip press. Hey dudes please stop embarrassing yourselves, drama queens. Aaaah. Nevermind them let me go back to I.N.R.I.

    reunions are only for make money, if there was just music interests and friendships they could all six get together and jam, it would be just great fans would be pleased and if they accept my idea do at wacken coz i've got the ticket already.

    Okay for the sepultura haters cuz max and igor is gone. Who cares bout the crying. Wow how can ya'll be so biased. Max left cuz he didn't like the fact that his wife was losing her job as there manager.Igor left cuz just face it he wanted to play hip hop music like shit with his wife. The only reason he is playing with max is its a alot of years lost of being brothers.Sepultura music has been pretty much the same since Maxs departure. ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS. Same style just different songs.Oh i do really like all three bands so don't call me a cavalera hater.Nobody was ever kicked out they left on there own wishes. and they have still lasted 26 years without the cavaleras good for them.

    Many of you assholes where 4 years old back then.
    So chill out with the whole reunion thing.
    Soulfly kicks ass, CC also and Seps are doing great without Max or Igor.
