Krist Novoselic Takes Online Trolls To Task For Complaining About Recent Live NIRVANA "Reunion"

Apparently you're not allowed to have fun anymore.

Apparently you're not allowed to have fun anymore.

Ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic got up on stage with Foo Fighters in Seattle earlier this week for what ultimately amounted to the closest you'll ever get to a Nirvana reunion.

For those unaware of rock history, Foo Fighters is fronted by ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, who was with the band from 1990 up to the end in 1994, and also ex-Nirvana live guitarist Pat Smear, who was with the group between 1993 and 1994.

Foo Fighters covered The Vaselines' "Molly's Lips," which Nirvana covered back in 1992, and people got bitchy about the reunion because you're not allowed to have fun anymore with your friends apparently.

Alternative Press covered some of the comments, which made their way back to Novoselic, who responded beautifully on Twitter that Foo Fighters and himself tried to contact Kurt Cobain about the show but he wasn't available.

Good on Novoselic for rolling with this one and having a sense of humor.
