"We’re doing one of my songs with an orchestra, and I’m singing with him for the first time in 25 years."

Devin Townsend really got his name out there as a vocalist in 1993 when he performed lead vocals on Steve Vai's Sex & Religion album, and toured with Vai for the album's cycle. Now, a full 25 years later, Towsend and Vai will reunite on stage at Starmus Festival: Live And The Universe between June 18 and 23 in Trondheim, Norway.

Here's what Townsend had to say via an interview with EonMusic.

We’re doing one of my songs with an orchestra, and I’m singing with him for the first time in 25 years. I’m also playing some of his stuff, so I think, now that I’ve been elevated to Riff Lord, I may get a promotion!

Townsend added that he and Vai are "just doing one song. We’ve known each other for many years, so to be able to get together like that is really cool." Still though, how cool is this?
