Dave Grohl Executive Producing A New Show For FX

Well this sounds awesome. Deadline reports that cable network FX is developing a pilot executive produced by Dave Grohl and comedian Dana Gould (who also created and is writing the project). The show will focus on "a rock band on the verge of mega-stardom who finds itself on the verge of breaking up and is forced to seek professional help in a last-ditch effort to stay together. Unfortunately, they end up with a misanthropic couple’s therapist from Agoura on the brink of divorce." Sounds like they may be taking some inspiration from Some Kind of Monster. For all you non-comedy nerds, besides being a hilarious standup Gould spent a lot of time writing on The Simpsons, during it's golden years. If this gets picked up, they have one viewer locked down…ME!
