CRO-MAGS Members Sue The Band's Ex-Bassist After Stabbing Incident Last Year

While bands like Slayer are entrenched in ridiculous politics due to a certain member being kind of a douche, the Cro-Mags are dealings with stabbings! Hooray! Kind of!

When the initial story broke last year, we covered it.  But here's a little bit of background from the New York Post (seriously):

Harley Flanagan, 43, a former frontman for the Cro-Mags, was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon last July after he allegedly stabbed and bit estranged band mates Michael Couls and William Berardo at the East Village venue.

Good! Now here's where it gets nuts; Flanagan gets off on the charges and everything is cool for a little while. Until now, when Couls and Berardo decide they're going to sue Flanagan and sue Webster Hall where the attack took place because of a "lack of security." More on this as it happens!

EDIT- So this morning, the band's singer John Joseph said this:

The Cro-Mags aren't suing anyone so get your f*cking fax straight people… our part-time fill in bass player is suing Webster Hall for his hospital bills. The Cro-Mags aren't suing anyone. I don't give two fux about all this but when you outright post bullshit I'm gonna speak on it.

So yeah, what I said; it's the estranged members. Not the Cro-Mags. Hooray for facts!
