He plans on going to Japan on tour with Converge in February.

Ben Koller, drummer for such bands as Converge, All Pigs Must Die and Mutoid Man, recently revealed he broke his elbow in a "freak accident" which rendered him unable to drum. A GoFundMe was launched seeking $25,000 for his medical bills and has since raised closer to $31,000.

Koller has now taken to Instagram to let everyone know that he's doing well after his surgery and that he plans on going to Japan on tour with Converge in February. Koller will not be drumming with Mutoid Man on their European tour with Mastodon and Kvelertak in January, and will be filled in for by Christopher Maggio (ex-Trap Them, Wear Your Wounds). We wish Ben all the best in his recovery!

Also, the second photo below the x-ray one is a little gross. So there's your NSFW warning.

“Had my first post op appointment yesterday and the Robocop arm is looking good. I can’t express in words how moving it is to have so much support from family, friends and fans. What happened is my worst nightmare and I now officially know where my pain threshold is.

I plan on crushing physical therapy when I get my staples out next week and the plan is to be able to still go to Japan with @converge in February. It’s hard to imagine that right now but I plan on doing everything in my power to get this thing back to 100% as soon as possible.

Once again I’m forever indebted to anyone that has donated to the gofundme, especially @yivvyjukes @stephenbrodsky and @sargenthouse for setting it up. Link is in my bio. Does anyone want to see the staples or is that too gross? It looks insane. Love you guys ❤️?❤️?”
