This weekend, Ozzy Osbourne received emergency surgery on his hand this past Saturday after being diagnosed with an infection.
Ozzy's Octoboer 6th show at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA was postponed and Ozzy hoped to be back on the road for tomorrow's show right outside San Diego. Sadly, he won't make it. Further consultation with his doctors at Cedars-Sinai led to the remainder of the shows being rescheduled.
Under doctor's orders, Ozzy has had to cancel the next two shows. These are the gigs affected:
Tue 10/9 Chula Vista, CA – Mattress Firm Amphitheatre
Thu 10/11 Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood Bowl
Saturday's show in Vegas is still scheduled to take place.
The shows will now be rescheduled as follows:
Monday, October 15 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl
Thursday, October 18 in Chula Vista (San Diego) at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre.
Saturday, October 20 in Mountain View, CA at Shoreline Amphitheatre
No word yet on if Stone Sour will be available to open the dates but Ozzy's team did post this very flattering photo of Ozzy with the announcement:
