Back in July of 2013, Overkill said they would be releasing a new record on Mar. 7 of 2014 and then doing some touring. For inexplicable reasons such is no longer the case! The band stickied an extremely short Blabbermouth post to their Facebook with the caption "from the news department" and that was it.
Last we heard from the band in July of 2013, they had six songs written and were planning to get it all recorded by the end of the year, so I'd imagine something went bad in that whole process. Either that or eOne has something massive coming out in March and they didn't want to overshadow said release with Overkill? Who knows. Good things come to those who wait, and Overkill is pretty awesome… so I'm alright with the wait!
