EVERY TIME I DIE Bassist Is Over It
- Posted by RobInjection on October 13, 2011
Stop me if you've heard this before. Every Time I Die's bassist is no longer in the band. Bassist Josh Newton has left the band, recently tweeting "Thanks to all the ETID dudes and all who cared. 'twas fun. ch-ch-ch-changes…" He was in the band since 2007. This seems to be an amicable decision free of any drama, as the band was very complimentary of Newton writing "The last 3 weeks have been the most grueling tour we've ever done and we have cherished every second. Rock In Peace, Josh Newton, we love you." If you're curious who the band's new bassist is, frontman Keith Buckley checked in with the following:
"ETID losing a bass player is hardly news, but for those curious, we will be joined by our original third bass player Steve Micciche on the GWAR tour. Josh Newton has left the road in order to pursue a real human job and we wish him the best of luck. I mean, he is almost 70 years old. Let's get real here."
