Between the Buried and Me announced earlier in the year they were going to film a live in-studio performance of their latest album The Parallax II: Future Sequence at some point this year. That point will be this fall.
The DVD will feature backing musicians playing all the instruments not played by the core band on the album, four hours worth of b-roll and possibly some revealing interviews! Maybe they'll even talk about what they have planned in terms of writing for the new record they'll be starting in the fall? As you can see in the above graphic that the band shared, there will be 9 guest musicians on the album. I wonder if it's anybody notable. Either way, I'm excited to see this DVD.
There is currently no release date for the DVD, but in the meantime you can catch the band on tour with Meshuggah!
