Just yesterday I was wondering what ever happened to that extremely non-metal project Nergal was working on. We heard a very brief clip of it in early 2015, but then Behemoth seemed to pick back up a little bit more and presumably the whole thing got put on the backburner.
Except it totally didn't. Nergal reveals in an interview with Spark TV (below) that he's absolutely working on a country, folk, and blue record that he hopes to get out this September.
“I’ve got this other band going now, and I wanna wrap up the record in March and maybe have it out in September this year. But it’s not metal, it’s blues, country and folk and I’m singing.”
Nergal is a super talented dude, so why wouldn't this be awesome? I guess we'll find out come this fall.
