Last week, the internet was up in arms at CNN's error in bundling Hatebreed with white power bands in an op-ed by a member of the Anti Defamation League. The band were understandably pissed, and wanted apologies. The CNN story was updated an hour after being posted and over the weekend, the band got a formal letter from the Anti-Defamation League themselves who apologized for the um, defamation…

While this seems like quite the generic apology, and an obvious move to save face, I applaud the ADL's efforts to right their silly wrong. And, on the plus side, Hatebreed did get a ton of free publicity out of this.
