ALL THAT REMAINS Frontman Admits The Band's Last Record Sucks

Not even an exaggeration.

Not even an exaggeration.

It takes a certain amount of cojones to admit that something you worked on for any period of time really isn't that great. So today, I've got to hand it over to All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte for owning what pretty much every fan of the band knew already- 2012's A War You Cannot Win is a thing that by and large should not exist.

Labonte told Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta on The Jasta (below) exactly how he feels about the record compared to the band's previous works and their upcoming 2015 record.

"I think this record is far and away better than our last one [2012's A War You Cannot Win]. It's, in my opinion, far and away better than [2008's] Overcome … A War You Cannot Win had some of our biggest singles. I think, overall, the record, in general, sucked. I think that [2010's] For We Are Many, in my opinion, For We Are Many is one of our best records, [and], in my personal opinion, it's our best record. Overcome has our biggest single ever."

Hate on All That Remains as much as you want. The band has produced some seriously solid material in their 14-year career and it'll be awesome to see them hit their stride once again! At the very least they know what direction not to go in as a band.
