Aborted now, Aborted later! ABORTED FOREVER! A HUNDRED YEARS ABORTED.COM!

I feel like it was pretty recently that we were wondering what the hell it was that Aborted was up to… and now we know! The band will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new EP titled Termination Redux out fairly soon, which features three new songs and a re-recording of the band's 2001 song "The Holocaust Incarnate" from its Engineering The Dead record.

Here's what Aborted had to say!

“Dear ghouls and maniacs: We couldn’t be more excited to make the following announcement! 2015 marked 20 years of existence for Aborted and we figured we would do something for the occasion, so here it is! Termination Redux is our 20th anniversary EP release containing 3 new tracks and a re-recording of our 2001 Engineering The Dead opener 'The Holocaust Incarnate.' The release will be exclusively available on vinyl and digitally. We will have a limited amount of copies on neon orange vinyl so grab those while you can! The video for Termination Redux was shot with our good friend Jens from Panda productions and we hope you enjoy it!

Next to this EP release which will be out just in time for our tour with our friends in Kataklysm and Septic Flesh, we will also be recording our new full-length this december at Kohlekeller studio in Germany. The EP is a prelude of things to come and rest assured the new album will be ripping you a new one next spring! Support death metal!”

Awesome! I wonder if the new album will be called Termination and this will just be a teaser of the new material? It's a pretty good guess, or at least the only one that might make any sense if there's any sense to be made here.

The bottom line is that we're getting some new Aborted now and then even more in 2016!
