Ever since AC/DC announced Axl Rose as its replacement for Brian Johnson on its upcoming tour, the Internet has divided into two very clear camps – those who are all about this happening and those who are unshakably pissed off. The band has made it known that you can get a refund for your ticket if you're not too keen on Rose being the vocalist, though from what we've heard the dude sounds great so far.
That being said, about 7,000 Belgian fans don't give a fuck who's fronting AC/DC because it's not Johnson. There's a show on May 16 at Werchter Festivalpark in Werchter, Belgium and, according to Blabbermouth, about 7,000 have requested refunds thus far. The ticket swill go back on sale to those waitlisted for the show, and then back to the general public with whatever's left.
I'd say this is an ego blow to Rose and maybe AC/DC, but they couldn't hear me talking under all those piles of money even if I had a megaphone.
