Classic DECAPITATED Albums Removed From Retailers Over Dispute With EARACHE RECORDS

Legal disputes!

Legal disputes!

Decapitated signed to Earache Records in 1999 and released four classic albums with the label, Winds of Creation, Nihility, The Negation, and Organic Hallucinosis, before departing for Nuclear Blast. If you happen to check iTunes or Spotify for one of these releases today, you will not be able to find them. Why? The band is in a legal dispute with their former label.

The band addressed the issues on their Facebook page, saying:

“Decapitated advises that they have resolved to take long-overdue action to redress various legal, copyright and financial disputes with their former label Earache Records. In response, Earache has removed from streaming sites the band’s entire catalogue of music released by Earache.

Although it is not their doing, Decapitated apologises to their fans for any disappointment and inconvenience and hopes that matters can be resolved as soon as possible.

We will keep you informed as to developments and thank you sincerely for your continuing loyalty, support and goodwill.”

The real losers here are the fans. But of course, where there is a will, there is a way. All the albums are still available for streaming on Youtube.
