Reflecting On A Week Where We Got New LAMB OF GOD, Christmas Lights and more

It's been a few weeks since we've done any reflecting, but now we're back to our regularly scheduled reflection. The first week of December is over, and 2012 is just around the corner, but there was still quite a bit of metal happenings this week. Here is what you missed:

At the beginning of the week, Lamb of God unveiled a new single, "Ghost Walking" off their forthcoming release, Resolution .

The most popular clip of the week has to be Slayer Christmas Light Show II, the guy went all out this year and it shows. Kudos to him!

We posted a ton of live clips from the recent EYEHATEGOD, Doomriders, Hull show.

We kicked off our Best of 2011 coverage by asking you to submit your favorite albums of the year as well as revealing the 15 funniest/most awesome metal viral videos of the year.

We asked a bunch of bands what the most metal gift they ever received was. Some of the answers will surprise you!

We marveled as the bassist of Unexpect shred for us.

Metallica had a busy week, releasing a shitty music video for "The View" with Lou Reed, and playing not one but two anniversary shows that actually seemed awesome.

We remembered Dimebag Darrel, seven years after he passed.

We watched as hip-hop producer Prince Paul attended some of his first metal shows and gave some honest and insightful reactions to experiencing the music live for the first time.

We'll see you guys on Sunday for an all-new Livecast, and come back next week when our Best of 2011 coverage kicks into high gear.
