Just when you thought nothing funny would happen this weekend. TMZ reports that Michael Todd, bassist for Coheed And Cambria, was arrested in Attleboro, MA last night for armed robbery where he allegedly held up a Walgreens to score some Oxycontin. The real kicker here is that he allegedly wrote his demand on a cellphone note pad and claimed that he possessed a bomb. He was eventually caught in a cab on his way to the Comcast Center where the band was set to open for Soundgarden.

What a story! I cant help but to laugh at this and wish someone would dramatize the event starring Nick Nolte as Michael Todd, and Martin Starr as the Walgreens pharmacist. I wonder what phone he used, and whether or not he had to keep unlocking his phone, exposing his home screen photo of a cute kitten, so the pharmacist would be able to read his threat.
