I was having the same problem, but seeing as I'm new on here, i figured i hadn't earned the right to vote yet. Anyways, i went to my email and I noticed a message from Metal Injection telling me to click on a link to complete the sign up and become a metal junkie. After I did I noticed I could vote. So that might the situation you have as well. One other thing though, it was in my Spam so try looking there for it. It you have Gmail, it might already be gone seeing as they delete automatically every 30 days.
