THROWDOWN's new album, Deathless is now streaming in it's entirety on the band's MySpace page.
After taking 10 years between albums, surely COALESCE would have come up with more great music than this year's absolutely sick OX. Proof is offered in OX EP, which features seven previously unrealeased songs and is now streaming at Lambgoat, a week before it hits stores on November 10. Is it January yet? "Frozen Lakes on Mars," the first taste of IHSAHN's upcoming album, is currently streaming, and as you'd hope, it rules. As we previously reported, MESHUGGAH will be putting out a live DVD early next year. The show featured will most likely be the show we attended back in February. The live DVD is set to be released almost one year to the day later, currently set for a February 9th release. I know one person who is really pumped.

Hasta la bye bye, Geffen. ROB ZOMBIE is ditching his label of 18 years and taking his Hellbilly Deluxe sequel to Roadrunner imprint Loud & Proud. Quoth the Zombie, "I love this new record and wanted to surround myself with an excited new group of people who can reignite my enthusiasm for working within a hard rock record label." In short, the album's been pushed back to 2010, so we get to wait a few months to find out if the rest of it is as generic as the single. Looking forward to that tour, though.

One of our favorite up and coming bands, PERIPHERY are heading on the road for a 9-date min-tour on the east coast. Yes, the new band with megastars JOSH HOMME (guitar,) JOHN PAUL JONES (bass) and DAVE GROHL (drums) stayed together long enough to record an album. Not only that, but their self-titled release is in stores November 17, with first single "New Fang" scheduled to hit the airwaves October 26. Why should you care? SUFFOCATION’s upcoming live record, The Close Of A Chapter: Live In Quebec City, is currently streaming in its entirety at this location: SuffocationLive.info. This recording was from the band's Souls To Deny tour and comes out in CD form next Tuesday.

FAITH NO MORE bassist Billy Gould just tweeted "Tweet THIS: In response to all of our concerned US brethren…YES…we yare now actively planning US dates." So, there you have it! I don't know about you, but I'm going to watch their Download Festival performance on repeat until the NY Date.
