We have made both JCVD's and Rob's song available for separate download. Here they are:

Here is a clip Sid shot of us in the desert from our trip to Vegas/LAwhich we talk about during the show.

Rob, Noa, Sid and 3D are back from the West Coast, all the drugs are hidden, the bodies are disposed of and the gambling debts are almost paid off. We start off the show giving a pretty thorough recap of our recent trip to Vegas, LA and NAMM in Anaheim. We learn about what Sid did in the bathroom while Darren was asleep, how Sid almost wanted to kill Rob, how Darren disappeared in Vegas, and much more. We spend almost an hour talking about it and it's great. Also, we get a caller from Charlotte who confronts Rob about ignoring him at New England Metalfest. Also, we bring back everybody's favorite segment, Thrash It or Trash It playing tracks from Shredding the Envelope, Hatred, Onrik and Sikfuk.

We had a very short playlist, here is what we played this week:
WRATH AND RAPTURE - A Breathtaking Tragedy
ENSLAVED - Lunar Force
THUNDERSTONE - Star

Also, don't forget to vote in our year end polls

We leave for one week and all hell breaks loose on Metal Injection. The site is slown to a crawl, no updates, what the hell is going? Rest assured, we seem to be putting the slowness behind us and updates will resume at a fever pace very soon. We figured what perfect way to start again then being with another great Livecast Mixtape. The crew has compiled some of our favorite moments from the last few months including:

- Rob discusses hitting on Noa in high school
- The Danzig pardoy, "ROBEERRT"
- A lesson in customer service at Walmart
- A candid interview with Barack Obama
- Thor Shredsteen's Thorfume commercial
- Emotional songs about Cocoa, Florida
- The Googler song
- Sid and Loni's wet moments in bed
- Toothgnasher's Epicast invasion and a phone call from Elise from reigninblonde.com.
- Appearances by Oderus Urungus and "Peter Steele"

We'll be back with an all new episode next week, and don't forget to vote in our Year-End Awards

This week, Santa Clause was supposed to join us, but ended up coming late. So, we took matters into our own hands and gave a away a free CD to each of our callers. The majority of the show was dominated by us fucking with the callers. Then, Santa finally showed up and he seemed to be in no condition to be on the radio. Yet, we still let him on the show. Experience the holiday cheer from the comfort of your MP3 player. Here is this week's playlist, picked by one of our other special guests, Elise from Reign in Blonde:

DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT - Hyperdrive!
QUICKSAND - Omission
GENGHIS TRON - Laser Bitch

This Week's Behind The Scenes

Things get a little weird on this edition of the Livecast. Noa constantly gets private messages throughout the show from a stalker fan who promises to call in next week. ReigninBlonde.com's Elise calls in and gets harassed about sleeping with Rob. Also, one random dude photoshops a photo of Noa in an odd position (Update: We took down the link because I guess we have some decency or something -Rob). We get a bunch of phone calls from a junkie named Colin who claims to have a lot in common with Darren. Also, we discuss the award categories for our Year End Awards, which happen on January 6th. If you have any ideas for categories or nominees leave a comment about it.

On this edition of the Livecast, Rob shows up an hour late. In other news, the 1st hour of the show is probably the best first hour in our history. During the first hour, we talk about Rob's girly hair products, two female teachers in Brooklyn who sneaked away from an assembly to get it on, and more tom-foolery. There is another edition of Thrash It or Trash It, where we judge unsigned bands. During the second hour, we get a phone call from IN THIS MOMENT vocalist Maria Brink and talk to her about the band's headlining tour, being surrounded by dudes, hanging out with Ozzy and Dave Mustaine and more. Also, Rob's mother joins the show to unveil a new song she wrote just for her son. Here is this week's playlist:

MEGADETH - Diadems
ENSIFERUM - Heathen Throne
MARTY FRIEDMAN - Black Orchid

UPDATED: We posted the behind the scenes clip from this week after the jump...

We return with a bang after being off the air last week. This week we seek guns at WalMart, Jenny sings some John Cougar Mellencamp, we discuss what type of awards would be given out if we had an award show for our podcast, awkward fan interactions, a caller who claims he was not from Cocoa, Flordia, parental permission and doody talk. Overall, many laughs were had. Here is this week's playlist:
DECAPITATED - Nihility
VENOM - Countess Bathory
JAVELINA - Towers of Silence
SEPULTURA - Refuse/Resist
W.A.S.P. - The Real Me
SKELETONWITCH - Repulsive Salvation
By the way, here is a little video from last week. We shot it last Wednesday right as we got out of the Neil Hamburger show. See the type of people who attended this show with us:

We know we say new episodes every week, but it's been a while since we took a week off, plus America's funnyman, and one of our heroes, Neil F'N Hamburger is doing a rare performance in the greater NY area, and we just had to go. So, we decided this will be the first Wednesday we do not do a podcast since moving to a new day. Hey, give us a break, alright?

But don't worry, we compiled a mixtape of a bunch of special guest call-ins that have happened in recent weeks including phone calls from Jonny Davy of JOB FOR A COWBOY, Snake Sabolnick of A LIFE ONCE LOST, Ian Christe of Bazillion Points Books and SiriusXM Liquid Metal, Tim Lambesis of AS I LAY DYING/AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE, Greg Weeks of THE RED CHORD, Paul Waggoner of BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and Travis Ryan of CATTLE DECAPITATION playing our gameshow Death or No Death.

Also, Sid is bringing his Flip camera tonight so he can show you how much fun we're having not doing the Livecast. That clip should be up a little later in the week.

Feel free to to post in the comments why you think we suck for not doing the show tonight. We will be back with a new live episode next week!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>UPDATE: We have added this week's Behind the Scenes video after the jump

We had two very special guests on this edition of the METAL INJECTION LIVECAST, Greg Weeks of THE RED CHORD & Paul Waggonner of BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. Greg calls early on and starts some beef with Paul, which Paul responds to later in the show. Also, when Paul comes on the air, we have a hurricane of callers, our most call-ins ever, asking deep questions about his hair cut and Cheetos. In all fairness, some dudes ask some good questions about guitars and the band. Also, we talk about Dave Ellefson's new career reading people's resumes, Geek2Geek and more! We also have a few calls from the Googler, including something in the final minutes of the show that may have been too far! Here is this week's playlist, mostly picked by 3D:

THE RED CHORD - The Ugliest Truth
ANTHRAX feat. PUBLIC ENEMY - Bring The Noise
SUICIDAL TENDENCIES - Trip At The Brain
ENTOMBED - Left Hand Path
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME - Fossil Genera - A Feed From Cloud Mountain
Plus the comedic stylings of Bill Hicks and Kumail Nanjiani

A lot of longtime fans of Metal Injection comment about how they miss the episodic format we had when we first started. We've evolved to a much bigger site than just weekly episodes, but when we started the FiX it was to try to continue the format of those early episodes in terms of showcasing sweet music videos. Well, for this Halloween, since it is the most metal of all holidays we thought we'd do a Halloween special in the tradition of our zombie special and our slasher special. (Wow, I can't believe they were done so long ago). This year's Halloween special takes the Creep Show format of telling three separate tales focusing on Rob, Frank and Noa. Also, all three of them and Sid and 3D each picked a music video to air on the episode. Can you guess who picked what? It's not really that difficult.

You can stream the episode right now at this location. If you'd like to download the hi-res version of the podcast, click here, or if you would like to subscribe to our podcast, you can do so via iTunes or RSS</itunes:summary>

Secrets were revealed on this edition of the Metal Injection Livecast. We start the podcast discussing Noa setting up a profile for Sid on a geeky dating site. That opens up a whole can of worms with the rest of the Livecast crew. Then, we discuss Dave Mustaine being a baby about METALLICA and end off the show as we always do, talking about porn and bodily functions. The conversation was so good we went 15 minutes past the two hour mark, because this stuff was too good to stop talking about. If you listened live, make sure to listen to the archive because you don't want to miss this. Here is this week's playlist:
CONVERGE - Cutter
AKIMBO - You Can Hear The Honey
HELLNATION - This Is Progress?
THE CHARIOT - Before There Was Atlanta, There Was Douglasville
BLACK SHIPS - The Flaws In Self Help
LORDS - Man, Everything Sucks
MAGRUDERGRIND - Fools Of Contradiction
BOTCH - Japam
AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED - Glass Tornado
VICTIMS - How Could I Lie?
CURSED - Negative Two Point Five
GRAF ORLOCK - Dutch and the Demon
BUCKET FULL OF TEETH - Lost Keys

UPDATE: We have added behind the scenes footage from this week's show after the jump...

The first half of this clip is shot right before we started the episode, the second half is right as we went into our first music break about 40 minutes into the show</itunes:summary>

For our second episode we look at another side of epicness. Prior to entering the studio we heard the call of the Northern Forests. Mounting our glorious steeds, we rode deep into the mountains of Santa Cruz until we came upon the Pagan Circle (no really, there is one). After slaughtering the dirty hippies within the surrounding area, we used their blood to channel the Gods of Old. Thus did Odin call down to us from Valhalla, commanding that we dedicate the next Epicast to him and the glory of Asgard with only the best Folk, Pagan and Viking Metal.

Hammer Horde - In The Name of Winter's Wrath - Under the Mighty Oath
Thyrfing - Själavrak
Einherjer - Burning Yggdrasil - Norwegian Native Art
Tyr - By The Sword in My Hand - By The Light of the Northern Star
Primordial - The Song of the Tomb
Suidakra - Shattering Swords - Crógacht
Alestorm - Pirate Song - Black Sails At Midnight
Korpiklaani - Let's Drink - Tervaskanto
Eluveitie - Gray Sublime Archon - Slaynia
Amon Amarth - Prediction of Warfare

On this edition of the Metal Injection Livecast, we had two awesome guests! At the beginning of the show, we were joined by Ian Christe, author of Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal and Bazillion Points publishing and SiriusXM Bloody Roots DJ, who schools us with some metal knowledge about an upcoming metal cookbook, Sweedish kickers, and Hanoi Rocks. Both interviewees were questioned by one of our fans, affectionately known as The Googler. All that and Sid aurally molests Noa on this edition of the Livecast. Here is this week's playlist:

We have posted an all new edition of our bi-weekly music video podcast, The FiX. This week, we had the pleasure of being joined by GOJIRA vocalist Joe Duplantier, who picks five of his favorite videos which include choice cuts from METALLICA, TOOL, SEPULTURA, DESPISED ICON and a pretty sweet video from French band TREPALIUM (a band I've never heard of before).

During the course of the podcast we talk to Joe about various topics. He gives us some insight on what it is like opening for Metallica. Also, we find out that Gojira will be on break for 2010 and will return with new music in 2011. Finally, we get some hints that there will definitely be a new CAVALERA CONSPIRACY cd in the future!

Being this was our first Wednesday show, we knew we had to do something big. We decided to bring back our most requested game show, Death or no Death, the game show where you have to figure out which band names are real and which are fake. It's much harder than you think! Our special guest for the game show is vocalist Travis Ryan from CATTLE DECAPITATION. Will the death metal master come out on top? Also, we get a surprise call from Snake of A LIFE ONCE LOST. On top of all of that, we get a quick check-in from "Patrick Swayze". Don't forget, the Metal Injection Livecast is on at a new day and time, Wednesdays at 8pm Eastern. Don't miss it!

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME Obfuscation
A LIFE ONCE LOST Surreal Atrocities
NACHTMYSTIUM Your True Enemy
CATTLE DECAPITATION A Body Farm
CONVERGE Axe To Fall

UPDATE: We have posted a short behind the scenes clip (mostly of Sid molesting Noa with the camera) after the jump... </itunes:summary>

We talk about jazz theory and jazz bands, Metallica liked by Monkeys, the odds of the Big 4 thrash bands touring, 14 years olds with deep voices, and we get a special appearance from one of our favorite guests, JCVD who has a very big announcement for us that was shocking. Here is this week's playlist:

<itunes:summary>Your good friend Issue Oriented just ordered you a double. Enjoy:

John Nolan (Straylight Run, ex-Taking Back Sunday) stopped by to talk and play. We discuss everything from Christian death metal to Long Island to food. Of course, we also talked about his new solo release Height (due this October) and all sorts of artsy stuff, too. And hey, remember that world premiere we gave you a few days ago, of John Playing "I Don't Believe You"? Well this episode includes the entire performance - an Issue Oriented exclusive.

Then you'll hear my interview with Billy Hamilton of Silverstein. We talked about navigating shifts in pop culture, the unshakable influence of one's home-town scene, stupid hair, the band's recent release A Shipwreck In the Sand, and much more.

And hey, did you notice the new IssueOriented.com? We've made a bunch of changes to the site. Most obviously, we have a new logo and look for the site. We added a videos page, and made some much-needed improvements to navigation for the news and blogs. We also combined all of our previously separate blogs into a single blog that will be updated by our regular contributors. There's more, and more to come - but right now what's important is you. Go. Fulfill your destiny:

We tried something new on this edition of the Livecast, a live chat as the show was going on. Whether it was a good idea or a bad one, we don't know yet. We get a few random callers including a dude holding a dolphin hostage, some party animals in Oklahoma, a young dude in India who listens to our show live on Saturday mornings and (completely randomly) Jonny from Job For A Cowboy. Also, we were joined by "Joey Jordinson" on Slipknot fame, we learn about Rob's teen years, Zakk Wylde's urination habits, ordering weed online and much much more. Here is this week's playlist:

NINE INCH NAILS - Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)
MORBID ANGEL - Dominate
SYLOSIS - Transcendance
