Clip of the Day
What do grandma and grandpa think of heavy metal?
The Deciblog has uncovered this amazing clip of a few elderly Americans reviewing heavy metal band HARVEY MILK. Really, the clip speaks for itself. I must warn you, if you are drinking anything or eating anything, finish before watching this. You don't want to swallow a teabag or anything.

DO NOT Interrupt a Metalhead While Headbanging
Job For A Cowboy in another viral video? Pretty funny clip nonetheless.
Crazy Train Solo on Violin
When my buddy Paul from The Apparatus linked me to VIO7's Myspace page, I couldn't help but snicker. A metal/hard rock band led by a violinist? Caaaam on. But then I saw the clip below of the Crazy Train solo, and I was impressed. So much so, that I thought I'd share…

Perhaps the coolest metal video ever?
Time for a little old school MOTORHEAD up in this piece. Their video for "Killed By Death" (above) should be the blueprint for all bad-ass metal videos that follow. Come on! A motorcycle through the living room…that's so cool, they had to show it twice. What other metal videos have instant replays? I certainly can't think of any!

Video of the Day: Plant Vochestra (BTBAM/Red Chord side project)
During our interview with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME from last year's Saints and Sinners fest, vocalist Tommy Rogers mentioned a side project he had formed with Gunface and Greg Weeks of THE RED CHORD called PLANT VOCHESTRA. It is officially the greatest side project in the history of all mankind. This is clearly the product of being really tired and really bored on tour and trying to come up with the most random thing ever, and it totally clicks in the most obnoxious of ways. So check out the above clip, and if you want more, Part 2 of this performance is also available.

Video of the Day: I dare you not to like IWRESTLEDABEARONCE
http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=30190099So, what's the deal with all these new bands that put the core in grindcore with their silly long names and infectious breakdowns? There may be a bit of an overflow of these types of bands, but I declare that Louisiana's IWRESTLEDABEARONCE are a band to reckon with. This band has a pinch of everything, grind, core, some jazz, clean vocals, and a female singer to boot! What I liked most about this band, is the balance of not taking themselves too seriously and then absolutely bringing it!

Youtube Clip of the Day: ANNIHILATOR,TRIVIUM and CHILDREN OF BODOM jam
Here is a live clip of Alexi Laiho and Cory Beaulieu playing alonside of ANNIHILATOR. The quality's not great, but it's still pretty groovy to see two of metal's current metal giants up on stage with the godfathers of modern metal. Enjoy!

Youtube Clip of the Day: Rick Renstrom can shred better than you!
Rick Renstrom is a neoclassical shred guitarist from Akron, Ohio. Renstrom was born with a physical handicap called Phocomelia, which is a congenital disorder involving the limbs that appears at birth with very short or absent long bones. Regardless of this handicap, Renstrom can certainly rock out as good, if not better, than the average shredder.

Youtube Clip of the Day: Pantera Jamming Out w/Kerry King
Here is some classic footage from 1989 with Pantera, in their infamous "Power Metal" days, and Kerry King of Slayer. Check out the Slayer and Judas Priest covers, and Kerry rocking out to old, glam Pantera. Even Phil looks clean!

Youtube Clip of the Day: Marty Friendman vs. Paul Gilbert in a Japanese DeathShred Match
One thing is certain about the Japanese… they love their 80s metalheads. Marty Friedman, of Megadeth fame is HUGGGE in Japan. So huge, he is the in-studio shredder on Japan's "Rock Fujiyama." Why he looks like a cheap hooker, I don't know. But, all I know is these two can shred. We need to get Metal Injection Japan going!
