Sorry guys, but updates to the site this week are going to be mildly infrequent. Frank and I are going to be in Europe for the week, just chillin'. But we didn't forget about you guys. The 2nd Blast Off presented by Metal Injection and Sick Drummer had some really awesome entries, making it much harder for the judges to pick the top 2 drummers, but the decisions have been made and a set of Trick Dominator double bass pedals as well as Sabian cymbals will be their prizes. Cosmo Lee, the proprietor of the kvlt review blog, Invisible Oranges and past contributor of many awesome reviews here at Metal Injection has been robbed! Cosmo is a great dude, and one of the tr00est people I've met so it saddens me to hear that he has lost his technology. Without his computer how he will go online to get his up to date information on cats with funny subtitles, and Dave Mustaine diary updates? I know right! In all seriousness, if you happen to not be suffering from this economy, or you are some sort of rich billionaire living in Nigeria, don't be a jerk a donate a few bucks to help this brosef out!

WOW! When we got an email from the fine people at Metal Hammer Magazine (which is basically the equivalent Revolver magazine of the UK) letting us know that we are nominated for their Web of Death awards we almost lost our shit. Who the FUCK are we? Well, apparently, we are one of the best multimedia portals online. Voting is open and although the editors of the magazine have the final say, they told us that user comments will help sway their votes.
