Who Knew THE CONTORTIONIST Sounded So Good On A Handpan?

Oh come on, how has nobody done this before?

Oh come on, how has nobody done this before?

Just in case you're not familiar with a handpan, it's basically a steel drum (or hang drum) that's played with your hand via various slapping techniques. You've probably heard it before and had no idea what it was or what it looks like, so here you go! You learned something today.

Enough talk, more handpan! Check out percussionist Jerry Decker showing us his interpretation of The Contortionist's song "Language I: Intuition" and then wonder, as I still am, why the group didn't get a hang drummer to play on the Language record.

…can someone get a hold of Decker and make him do a full song? Please?
