Watch EVERY Episode of Metal Evolution Right Now!

If you haven't been watching Vh1 Classic's Metal Evolution, you truly have been missing out on an incredible documentary. Banger Films, the makers of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey have created an 11-part series focusing on just what the title says, the evolution of metal. The most fascinating episodes for me, were the early ones where it traces not just the roots of metal, but of rock music in general, and then again later with some of the later episodes covering Power Metal and Prog Metal. Vh1 is currently streaming every episode in the series, and if you enjoy learning about this genre of music that we all love, I implore you to make some time to watch all of these. Who knows how long VH1 will keep them up? Here they are:

More region encoded fuckery getting in the way yet again.
I laughed the hardest at the Nu Metal episode, where even the Korn guys turn on Limp Bizkit and blame them for the Woodstock riots. Fred Durst even admits he's "that guy". Funny stuff.
Fantastic show…. Well I'm guessing that it is, as I live in the uk and cant view it – damnit!
