A few months back, Suffocation frontman Frank Mullen revealed that due to commitments with his day job he would no longer be able to tour with the band full time. Mullen assured fans he's still in the band, he just has a family to feed and death metal doesn't exactly pay the bills. The band promised to move forward and a few weeks back locked in Dying Fetus frontman John Gallagher fill in for Mullen.
Much like many death metal fans, I was very excited about this. Now that the band's tour is underway, we have our first bootleg footage with John up front:
Overall, I think Gallagher does a stand up job here and the band turned a negative into a nice treat for long time death metal fans. Further tour dates can be found here.
