This Is What BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Sound Like In 2015 (And It's Not Bad)

I'm surprised how much I dig it, honestly.

About ten years ago, Bullet For My Valentine were heralded as the next big thing in heavy metal. They, along with Trivium stateside, were getting all this press for being the future of rock. Well, ten years later, they are certainly still around making waves, but they are not the biggest band in the world, like metal publications circa 2005 predicted.

If anything, it seems like BFMV's popularity may have faded a bit the last few years, but that might be me being out of touch. Regardless, the band are ready to make an impact in 2015 in a big way. The band released the track “No Way Out” and announced their new album, Venom, and will arrive Aug. 14. So how does the song sound?

The band have kept their cleans to a minimum and the signing actually fits the music. Overall, some solid easycore metal.

The band also announced a new bassist, Jamie Mathias, who replaces Jay James. Jay decided to leave the band in February because he was over it and the band were totally cool with it. It sounds like Jamie fits right in.

Are you on the BFMV bandwagon?
