The Two Coolest Moments Of Last Night's #121212Concert

I just reactivated my cable box, after two years of strict online TV watching, and it was the perfect time to load up the DVR, for the 12/12/12 concert for Hurricane Sandy relief. There were two moments when my DVR when from fast forward x4 to play, and they were when Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder came out and helped Roger Waters perform the Pink Floyd classic "Comfortably Numb" and when Paul McCartney and the surviving members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl, Krist Novaselic and Pat Smear got up and performed a new track, "Cut Me Some Slack." Let's watch:

The McCartney/Grohl/Noveselic/Smear jam will be featured on the soundtrack to Dave Grohl's upcoming documentary "Sound City," with an official teaser already posted here.

What do you think of the new McCartneyNirvana jam? Did Eddie Vedder kill it or what? Let us know in the comments!
