The New MARTY FRIEDMAN Track "Inferno" Is So Good

It's a song, not just shred.

It's a song, not just shred.

Ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman dropped the title track off his upcoming Inferno record yesterday and it is pure instrumental insanity. The thing I am absolutely loving about "Inferno" is that while it's an instrumental jam, there never really comes a point where I'm waiting for vocals to kick in. The music is so well written there's zero call for vocals, which to me is always the mark of an excellent songsmith aiming to convey an instrumental jam. It's worth noting his other single off the Inferno record is equally sick.

Check the song about below and pick up Inferno when it comes out on May 27 via Prosthetic Records. Don't forget too that other guitarists on the record include Alexi laiho (Children of Bodom), Dave Davidson (Revocation) and Danko Jones!
