The Lurking Fear, which features frontman Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, ex-Lock Up), guitarists Jonas Stålhammar (God Macabre, Crippled Black Phoenix) and Fredrik Wallenberg (Skitsystem), bassist Andreas Axelson (ex-Edge Of Sanity, ex-Marduk), and drummer Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, The Haunted), will be releasing its debut self-titled 7" on May 8 via Moondawn Records, and up until now we had no idea what to expect.
Well, we kind of knew what to expect – what were the chances The Lurking Fear wasn't going to be heavy? Before this trailer, we'd say there's no chance, and now that we've heard the trailer, we're damn sure it's going to be exactly as death metal as you were hoping! Granted, the trailer offers no song in full, but teases just enough for you get the idea.
The Lurking Fear is expected to release a full-length through Century Media Records late this summer, in addition to the aforementioned 7".
