This is a big release for The Contortionist. The band has accrued an ample amount of hype on their last album, Intrinsic and went through a few lineup changes, nabbing Last Chance to Reason's Michael Lessard and recently adding the services of former Scale the Summit bassist Jordan Eberhardt.
Today, we get to hear our first taste of their new album, Language. We get to hear the first part of the title track, as the band clearly continues in their prog-metal direction:
