You've been to shows before for bigger bands, I'd assume. At those shows, you also know that the merchandise being sold at the official merchandise table is generally not so cheap. For instance, in Mexico an official Iron Maiden shirt will run you 550 pesos, or about $31 as of the current exchange rate.
So why bother getting it for $31 when you can get one for roughly 100 pesos outside, or just under $6? Though the jacked prices might be a little bit reasonable, considering venues take a solid chunk out of merchandise sales as well… thoughts?
