Testament promised that its new album would be insanely heavy, and if the title track is any indication, the band is hellbent on keeping its promise. "Brotherhood of The Snake" features tons of blasting, some pretty seriously heavy vocals reminiscent of the band's earlier semi-death metal days, and Slayer-esque that summon the vibes of early thrash. Not to mention the new/old rhythm section of bassist Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Gene Hoglan absolutely crush it!
