Your First Taste of the METALLICA & LOU REED Collaboration

I don't know why I even thought that the Metallica & Lou Reed collaboration would be bearable. I thought Death Magnetic was alright, but I'm not exactly clamoring to listen to it again. For some reason though, I thought the addition of Lou Reed might ignite some sort of spark in the band. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! From this 30 second sample of the a track titled "The View," I have pretty much gathered that this album will be a disappointment to me. My expectations are immediately lowered. It's my own fault really.
The full single comes out September 27th, and the album, Lulu hits stores November 1st.

i know i thought the same thing, it takes a couple listens to grow on you but its really not all that bad
Sounds interesting, like Load/Reload, that is to say the style Metallica should have kept on playing instead of releasing try hard shit like Death Magnetic.
