SYSTEM OF A DOWN get remixed

A lot of people hate on SYSTEM OF A DOWN, calling them nu-metal, but fuck those people. SOAD rules and put out some amazing records. They are, in my opinion, a gateway band for kids looking for something a bit more extreme. I'm really bummed they broke up, as their solo stuff doesn't come near the four records they put out together. Recently a video has surfaced reminding me of just how awesome this band is. Titled “The Forest Project“, it's a video montage of hundreds of photos taken by photographer Greg Watermann of the band’s final show, all to the tune of a sick remix by DJ LethalRush showcasing a ton of tracks from the SOAD discography…

Agreed the S/T and Toxicity were both big gateway albums for me and I still love both of them to this day. Also that video was pretty cool.

SOAD might be 'nu metal' whatever that is, but they really don't sound quite like anything else. One of my favorite bands of all-time, and I don't really care if other metalheads like them or not.

Amazing video for an amazing band…they have one of the greatest most unique sounds of the generation.

  • Set Abominae

    WOW!….. that was awesome.

even if you dont like SOAD and say theyre nu metal you have to admit theyre the most socially educated nu metal band.

  • Xero

I really dont think SOAD is NuMetal.. it's a shame they're tied into that cuz of them being big when numetal was big. They don't have a DJ or any "rap" influence that numetal bands have.. the only thing they did have numetal was the absence of guitar solos.. if they had guitar solos then you wouldnt call them numetal at all. Fuck the System XD

i love SOAD. but i thought there was 5 albums???

This will remain one of the best bands in my opinion, broken up or not. They were so unique and really spoke to a lot of what's wrong with society. This video is epic! I had no idea how cool mashing up their songs would be. I can't get enough of this.
    It should be downloadable…

thenigus is right, but then again mezmerize and hypnotize might count as just one album…

thingus, you're right, I actually didn't consider Steal This Album, which is still a great release, but I guess I considered it sort of like a mixtape

  • jumpmanhat

that mash-up made them sound better than they actually did. Great video. ive been a fan but then i wasnt a fan and i remain.

Steal this Album was the first album I ever found leaked on the internet… so I ended up stealing it haha.
But did anyone actually get the leaked version before they put it on the shelves. A lot of the songs had different chorus's and parts in them. I wish I still had the mp3's
