Swallow The Sun will be unleashing its triple disc record Songs From The North I, II & III on November 13 via Century Media and has dropped the first single off the coming monstrosity. "Heartstrings Shattering" is off the first disc of the record, which the band has stated is what you've come to expect from the group in terms of melodic doom metal. They've definitely got the doom bit right!
Continuing on with the explanation, the second disc of the record will be an all-acoustic affair and the third disc of the album will be straight up funeral doom. Props to the band for exploring its sound in such an expansive way! We'll see how this all pans out soon enough…
