SEVEN)SUNS Does An Intense Version Of DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's "43% Burnt"

Alright, this is probably the best cover I've seen this year.

Alright, this is probably the best cover I've seen this year.

We've all seen countless metal songs performed on instruments outside the ones featured in the original song. Heartfelt piano renditions of instrumentals, shreddy sitar versions of difficult-to-play pieces, too many ukelele covers to count and even a dude fucking around with Necrophagist on a clarinet. The bottom line is this- you've seen it all, or at least you though you've seen it all.

Enter Seven)Suns, the New York-based string quartet who performs a heart-pounding, incredibly intense version of Dillinger Escape Plan's "43% Burnt." Who knew how close Dillinger was to being modern composers? Check out the masterfully done cover below and hopefully we can update you with this group's Facebook page or something!

This was our first run through of #DillingerEscapePlan 's "43% Burnt". Note the pink balloons. Now that shit is hardcore. We're gonna play this (hopefully a little tighter) at #LiveatLPR in the gallery tonight!
