We have all been patiently waiting for new material from The Faceless to surface, ever since we saw that live bootleg of them performing "The Eidolon Reality." Well, we no longer have to resort to live bootlegs, as the band have made a "pre-production preview" of the song available for streaming. Oh, fuck yes. Let's take a listen, shall we?
From the moment it starts, it is instantly recognizable as the Faceless' now signature style. I'm really digging the main riff. Also, they are sneaking in more clean singing, which is performed by Michael Keene (is there anything he can't do?). While I ultimately prefer Derek's growl, I think it's a nice change of pace to hear the clean vocals once in a while. This track rips, and will now be on repeat all day for me. What do you guys think?
