The pivotal instrumental metal maestros are back with a new song!

The pivotal instrumental metal maestros are back with a new song!

The members of the instrumental trio, Dysrhythmia, collectively have a multitude of highly successful endeavors throughout their musical careers. Time in GorgutsKralliceWithered as well as solo efforts has Kevin Hufnagel, Colin Marston, and Jeff Eber in an ethos of accomplished musicians that many strive for. Dysrhythmia itself has been operating since the turn of the century compiling dizzying and complex music that accentuate many progressive styles and for the seventh time over 16 years, the trio is releasing a new full-length album. The Veil of Control will be released on September 23rd through Profound Lore Records. An initial track from the record was shared at the end of July and can be heard here.

We are excited to premiere a second, new track today from The Veil of Control entitled "Severed and Whole". Over the course of five minutes, Hufnagel weaves harmonious threads of guitar chords that are fortified by Marston's ridiculous chops on bass guitar. Like any great instrumental band, the track does not leave you wanting vocals. It is an important concept that master musicians like Dysrhythmia are able to capitalize on and it is just one of multiple facets that makes the trio an influential force. Like Moore said in his write-up of "Internal/Eternal", The Veil of Control is setting up to be Dysrhythmia's best album yet, in a year that already has given brilliant releases from KralliceGorguts, and Indricothere. Check out the new track below and give us your thoughts.
