When I heard there was a new Psycroptic record coming in 2015, I couldn't be more excited. Their 2011 album, The Inherited Repression was one of my top albums of that year. Then, we heard a new track and I was convinced this was going to be another ripper.
I had the chance to spend some time with their new album, the self-titled Psycroptic, and it's another winner from the Tasmanian death metal quartet. I jumped at the opportunity to premiere one of the standout tracks on an album full of standouts, "The World Discarded."
