Song Premiere

Premiere: HATEBEAK's "Seven Perches" is Literally Grind With A Parrot Screaming Over It.

Dare I say, Waldo, the 21-year-old African parrot, actually adds something to the song!

We are pretty excited for the new Hatebeak album, The Number of the Beak, so much so, that we wanted to premiere a track immediately. We are so excited to hear the first sounds from this new album with the track "Seven Perches." If you take out the vocals (parrot squeaks still count as vocals), it's an excellent grind instrumental. I guess that's what happens when you have Blake Harrison of Pig Destroyer in the band, and Harrison made sure to get his PxDx bandmate, Scott Hull, to master the album.

But, dare I say, Waldo, the 21-year-old African parrot, actually adds something to the song! I mean, look, most of the time you can't understand what a grind vocalist is saying anyway, so why not just throw a parrot in there?

The Number of the Beak is out on June 26th via Reptilian Records. You can pre-order the album right now.
