Earlier this year, we here at Metal Injection had the privilege to bring you “Data_M1nefield,” the first track from the upcoming Cyborg Octopus record Learning To Breathe. You proggier readers seemed to dig it quite a bit, and rightfully so. Well good news nerds! We’re teaming up with the band again to bring you another new track from this San Ramon saxophone swinging sextet.
This latest little ditty is a rather off the wall prog tune that sets out to get you dancing. It’s called “DiscoBrain”, for good reason as it is infused with disco and funk madness. Also, it is about taking acid, so that's fun.
