Zombie Eating Horse is a modern groovy metal/deathcore group based out Los Angeles, CA. I personally recall hearing of the band for the first time when they were one of the bright and early acts for Knotfest of last year.
Although most of us watching still had sleep in our eyes being that it was 11am, the set was filled with heavy hitting songs with Slipknot-fueled nu metal angst and deathcore intensity. Besides their fest stint, Zombie Eating Horse has also been the opening act for bands including Alterbeast, Motograter, Falsifier, Armed For Apocalypse, Exmortus, Cattle Decapitation, Ill Nino, Cryptopspy, and more.
Previously releasing the Nothing For No One and Don't Follow Me LPs, the band will be following up with The Worst of Us album via Infinite Strength Records. We're stoked here at Metal Injection to be exclusively premiering the first single "Z Rex." Check out the track, which feels like a modern take on early 2000's metal like Lamb of God, Soulfly, or Pantera.
