California natives Aethere were a new band to me until recently, but I'm confident these guys are onto something good. So here we are to premiere a brand new single from them called "Sleep". Which comes from their upcoming late-April debut album, Adrift, through Tragic Hero Records.
The beginning of "Sleep" starts out with a slow paced building groove, and there's definitely some groove element later in the song as well, but suddenly things get fast and wild on a dime in a manner similar to technical deathcore veterans Rings of Saturn. Followed by a shift into more "normal" tech-death sounding parts, which is followed by some more mechanical groove laden passages. There are also a few tasty mega-ton sized breakdowns lurking within "Sleep" that hit super hard as well if that's your thing. Make sure to hit play below and get your skull stomped in until all you know is "Sleep".
