Soen, the band that consists of drummer Martin Lopez (ex-Opeth, ex-Amon Amarth), bassist Stefan Stenberg, vocalist Joel Ekelöf, guitarist Marcus Jidell (Avatarium, ex-Royal Hunt), and keyboardist Lars Åhlund, will be releasing its new album Lykaia on February 3. An album that you'll likely be picking up due to the fact that "Sectarian" is so damn good.
"Sectarian" starts off with some seriously riffy progressive metal, dives back into that Tool-influnced prog that you've come to know Soen for, and touches on choruses that'll get stuck in your head for sure. Check it out!
