SCAR SYMMETRY Posted Their New Single "Limits To Infinity" And It's Pretty Different

A little less progressive, a little more anthem.

Scar Symmetry will be dropping their first record without founding guitarist Jonas Kjellgren in October via Nuclear Blast titled The Singularity, Phase One: Neohumanity. The release is highly anticipated amongst fans because nobody knows exactly what to expect, but fear not! You can find out below with the group's first single off the record "Limits to Infinity."

I'm really, really conflicted about this single. On one hand it's so damn catchy and it's been stuck in my head for the past few days, but at the same time I can't really sink my teeth into the substance of the song. I just feel like the song is a bunch of catchiness and that's about it. Here's to hoping this is another case of a band releasing an alright single off an otherwise sick album!

'The Singularity (Phase II − Xenotaph)' doesn’t match Neohumanity’s freshness, unity, and variety, but’s far from a major letdown.
