Back in April, I reported that Powerwolf had just finished recording their fifth studio album, Preachers of the Night. The album is scheduled for release July 9th on Napalm Records, and the diabolical power metal outfit have just premiered the opening track from the forthcoming LP. The track's titled "Amen & Attack" and it will almost certainly get your blood up in anticipation of the release date.
No doubt, many of you are sourpusses who don't appreciate power metal because it's not brOOtal enough, but I encourage you to give this song a listen. Like everything else Powerwolf does, "Amen & Attack" is over-the-top, pulpy, and fun. These guys don't take themselves too seriously, but they still know how to craft catchy power metal anthems. If you like what you hear, make sure to mark your calender for July 9th, because, based on the band's previous output, I can guarantee Preachers of the Night is going to be a great album.
