The Obsessed came back this year with its first album in 23 years, though the new music festivities aren't quite over yet. Relapse Records is reissuing the band's 1990 self-titled album, which will include the Promo Demo 1985 / Concrete Cancer. MetalSucks has premiered the band's song "Mental Kingdom" from the latter, which sounds a little like early Metallica vocals overtop some pretty technical Black Sabbath riffs.
Though did anyone really expect Scott "Wino" Weinrich to slack on anything he does or did? The reissue is out November 17, and as yet another added bonus, there's a second disc with a full set from 1985 in Washington D.C.!
